Who would think colour would make such a difference? I am constantly reminded by the simplicity associated with colour, memory and brand. You don’t need a catchy slogan. Colour can make all the difference. Moving countries reminds of that. Feel like some crisps/want some chips, I just go to the local milkbar/ 7-eleven/off license and buy my favourite snack.

The problem is I have to think now and read every label. Because they don’t match. The horror!!! I know if I want plain chips it is a blue packet, barbecue, my fave, is orange and I never buy pink because it’s salt and vinegar. But it don’t work that way here. Ask anyone in the UK and they will also be able to name every flavour just by saying the colour.

Part pop culture, part childhood memory. Don’t rock the colour palette.

I never reach for the pink or the green, always the blue, occasionally the yellow and always the red if it’s Smith’s Tomato, Samboy 2nd grade.
